SAFE EDUCATION 2022: WHAT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THE FOUNDATION WILL LAUNCH THIS AUTUMN
This year the war in Ukraine has taken away from our children the traditional holiday of the First Bell, the joy of many other school holidays and activities, and in general has significantly changed the approach to the organization of the educational process. Safety and protection of children have become the main priority in education, and practicality, health care and connection with life have become key principles of education.
Taking into account the challenges of today, the International Charitable Foundation «Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents», which together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine involved in the implementation of the nationwide strategy for the formation and preservation of a safe educational environment, plans to help the general secondary education institutions in Ukraine in the near future:
- to strengthen the educational process with practical classes for teachers and children on premedical care and safe behavior on the road, in accordance with the program «We know and act» approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The format of such classes is currently being discussed;
- to promote the formation of «safety classes» at educational institutions, intended for development of skills in mine and fire safety, road safety, premedical care; to help to equip classes with necessary educational and methodological literature and visual aids.
In addition, the traditional holding of nationwide road safety weeklies in November and May within the framework of Road Safety Weeks in Ukraine, and also the annual All-Ukraine photo and video works competition among children and youth «Safe country» at the initiative of Foundation remains unchanged. We remind you that deadline for applications is October 21, 2022, so in the new school year, students have every opportunity to show their best abilities and talents.
The International Charitable Foundation «Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents» sincerely congratulates pupils, students and all representatives of the educational sphere with the Knowledge Day and the beginning of the new school year and wishes fruitful, effective and most importantly peaceful and safe education.
