ICF “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” invites to join the nationwide charity campaign “Donate Blood – Save Lives”, which takes place during the All-Ukrainian Road Safety Week – become a donor of blood and its components.

Blood is urgently needed at the National specialized children’s hospital “OHMATDYT” (Kyiv, V. Chornovola St, 28/1): donors are expected on November 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Blood type 1 is especially needed, both positive and negative Rhesus factors.

Also in Kyiv, during Blood Week, blood can be donated at the city blood center at 12 M. Berlinsky St. from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

At regional blood transfusion centers, blood can be donated as part of the campaign in accordance with their requirements and donor acceptance schedules.

The campaign “Donate Blood – Save Lives” has been organized for many years by the ICF “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” and Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Right now, replenishing blood banks is especially important, as there is a serious shortage of blood in the country.

We urge you to follow the announcements of blood centers, which are working in an enhanced mode during the war, and to donate blood not only during campaigns, but also outside of them.
