New changes to the traffic regulations come into force from November 1, 2021

New markings, new road signs on roads, other speed limits outside settlements: from November 1, 2021, new amendments to the Traffic Rules came into force (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of September 29, 2021 №1091).
Among the most significant changes for drivers is the speed limit outside the settlements, which will be regulated by the width of the marking. It will be forbidden to drive at a speed of 110 km / h, if the element of the road separating traffic flows in opposite directions is not marked by marking 1.2 (previously 1.1 or 1.2). Markings differ in width – up to 15 cm and 20 cm, respectively. New diagonal, pedestrian crossings will appear on the roads.
A new definition of a bicycle path is introduced and the concepts of a bicycle lane and a bicycle crossing appear. The concept of state roads is changing. To the three types of roads – international, national and regional – a fourth is added: «territorial roads».
