From May 15 to 21 as part of the 7th Global Road Safety Week, the annual charity campaign “Give Blood to Save Lives” was held to promote blood donation and help victims of road accidents
The International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” together with Kyiv Interregional Branch of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine” express its sincere gratitude to all Blood centers in Ukraine, which have joined to the campaign, as well as to the employees of the departments of the National Police of Ukraine, Patrol Police, Police Protection, Judicial Protection Service, State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety, the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in all regions, cadets of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, State Emergency Service of Ukraine and to all not indifferent donors who gave blood and its components, filling up necessary supplies, during whole Week.

More than 40 people who shared blood and its components with children injured in road accidents, took part in the charity action during one day at the National specialized children’s hospital “Ohmatdyt”.
Nowadays, during the war, Blood Centers are working in the strengthened mode, so we call on to follow their announcements and to give blood not only within the framework of actions, but also outside them.
