6TH ALL-UKRAINIAN PHOTO AND VIDEO WORKS COMPETITION WITHIN THE NATIONAL PROJECT “SAFE COUNTRY”
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS!
On November 14, the results of the 6th annual All-Ukrainian photo and video works competition of the national project “Safe Country” were summed up and announced. A recording of the online broadcast of the event can be viewed on the YouTube channel «Безпечна країна» (“Bezpechna kraina”).
The organizing committee of the 6th All-Ukrainian photo and video works competition of the national project “Safe Country” is grateful to the participants and all those, especially parents, leaders and children, who took part in the preparation of the wonderful competition works.
Every year thousands of pupils and students from different parts of Ukraine take part in the competition. This year was no exception, as the organizing committee registered more than 1300 works from over 5000 participants.
It is especially pleasant that pupils from the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions were active participants in this year’s competition. Despite the fact that most educational institutions of these regions continue to work in a distance learning format, it was presented high-quality works and it was demonstrated the creative abilities of young people, who creatively approached the coverage of current security environment issues.
This year, three topics in two nominations – photo and video – were nominated for the competition:
Youth for road safety – safe behaviour of pedestrians and other road users when using personal bicycle transport and electric vehicle; rules of behavior and barrier-free access to public transport;
Life safety we know and act – practical skills of how to behave in case of emergency situations, detection of mine-explosive devices, provision of premedical care to victims;
My safe country: the future – free interpretation of your own vision of country’s security and its future – only 1st place, Special prize.
The organizers of the competition – the International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents”, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and all jury members – representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, the Department of Patrol Police, National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting, State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety, Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine sincerely congratulate all the finalists on their well-deserved victory and wish them inspiration on the way to new achievements.
This year, out of more than a thousand works submitted to the competition, 22 prize works went to the finals. The authors of the works were pupils, pupils of preschool and out-of-school educational institutions, students, groups of school and amateur TV studios.
These are photos and videos, which took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places, works that received additional special prizes, as well as works, that received the most votes during online voting. It should be mentioned that this year more than 100 000 people took part in the independent viewer’s voting.
