A round table on the occasion of the launch the 2nd stage of the Road Safety Week in Ukraine will be held on November 13 at 10.00 – 12.00 at the “UKRINFORM” news agency (Kyiv, B. Khmelnytskoho St, 8/16).
As part of the events of the 2nd Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly, the 2nd stage of the All-Ukrainian Road Safety Week will take place in Ukraine from November 13 to 19, 2023.
The 2nd stage of Road Safety Week in Ukraine will continue the topic of the 7th Global Road Safety Week that is dedicated to rethinking mobility and creating comfortable and safe conditions for all road users, including pedestrians and users of personal bicycle transport and electric vehicle. The events of the Week also relate to topical issues on transport safety in Ukraine in conditions of martial law.
The Ukrainian Week’s events include a round table with participation of the representatives of the specialized government departments and structures, transport industry specialists, organized by the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Kyiv Interregional Branch), the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents”.
During the event, experts in the field of transport and infrastructure, the national police will discuss the situation with road safety in Ukraine, legislative initiatives and changes related to traffic rules; educational programs for young road users, as well as other events that will take place in Ukraine during the Week.
