A teacher is always about example and education in all life spheres of human and society. The teachers of Kyiv Specialized School І-ІІІ levels №155 with In-Depth Study of English have also become an example for their students.

Within the training and professional development for teachers of the “We Know and Act” program, the educators of metropolitan school №155 took a theoretical course on premedical care and the rules of save behaviour on the road.

This course aims to develop professional competences of education workers necessary for partnership interaction with participants of the educational process (teachers, students, parents) to provide premedical care to victims in emergency conditions and road accidents and to learn the rules of safe behaviour on the road.

Educational and training program for teachers provides the acquisition of knowledge and practical skills on premedical care, the rules of safe behaviour on the road for road users, as well as methodological tools for organising and conducting events on processing of safety rules on the road. After completing of the training, teachers are tested and receive the appropriate certificate.

In the modern realities of our lives, premedical skills are extremely important and necessary, because the preservation of human life and health is the highest value.

We want to remind you that the training program compiles with the standards, required by the international BLS (basic life support) program, practical methods of providing emergency medical aid in case of respiratory failure or arrest, cardiovascular disorders.

We want to point out that in May 2023 within the educational activities, the ICF “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” together with Kyiv Interregional Branch of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine launched the “We Know and Act” online platform, where the representatives of educational institutions can master theoretical part of premedical care.

It should be added that educational and training program is not limited to target audiences but covers various professional communities who want to master premedical care skills.
