On October 13, the organizing committee of the All-Ukrainian photo and video works competition “Safe Country” completed the acceptance of photo and video works from the participants. Today, on October 14, an independent online voting has started, and everyone has an opportunity to vote.

The organizing committee expresses its sincere gratitude to everyone who sent their works for the photo and video works competition “Safe Country” which is traditionally held by the International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine.

Within seven years our competition inspires Ukrainian children and youth to create works that promote knowledge of

traffic rules, wearing reflective elements, the ability to provide premedical care and other relevant topics.

Every year thousands of pupils and students from different parts of Ukraine take part in the competition. This year was no exception and despite difficult times and the war in our country, ICF “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” decided to continue our tradition and hold an annual competition.

And for good reason, because today we can say with confidence that it was right decision. Traditions cannot be changed, right?

This was confirmed by more than a thousand of your works that we received from different regions of Ukraine and different countries.

It is especially pleasant that among the participants of the competition there was even those Ukrainian pupils who live abroad now, as well as in the cities of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, which remain a flashpoint on the map.

That’s why we want to believe that our competition is the initiative that unites Ukrainians all over the world, motivates and gives a small part of happiness.

This year, three safety topics were nominated for the competition in two nominations – photo and video:

• Youth for road safety;
• Life safety we know and act (practical skills of how to behave in case of emergency situations, detection of mine-explosive devices, provision of premedical care to victims);
• My safe country: the future (free interpretation of your own vision of country’s security and its future) – only 1st place, Special prize.

Road safety remained the most popular topic among this year’s participants. Due to the relevance, a lot of participants covered in their works practical skills and behavior in case of emergencies, in particular air raid alert. We saw patriotism and faith in the future of our country in the works on the topic “My safe country: the future”.

It is enough to talk about, because you can see everything by yourself on our platform, where the works are posted.

Not only to see but also to choose your favorite and cast your vote by participating in an independent online voting. We would like to remind you that this is a separate nomination of the competition, the winners of which (those who received the most likes on each topic) will be awarded with diplomas and audience prizes.

Online voting will last a week – from 14 to 20 October 2024.

Important: you can vote for your favorite works only on the competition platform, and only once from one IP address.

The winners, whose works will take 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each topic and nomination, will be determined by the expert jury. It includes representatives of a number of government agencies,

departments and structures, interested commercial organizations, as well as media.

The jury will be guided by the evaluation criteria set out in the Regulations of the competition.

The results of the All-Ukraine photo and video works competition “Safe Country” will be announced remotely during the Road Safety Week, which will be held in Ukraine on November 11-17, 2024.

The online broadcast of the event will be available on the YouTube channel «Безпечна країна» (“Bezpechna kraina”). The date and time of the broadcast will be announced later. We recommend you to subscribe to the channel and press on the bell to receive timely notification of the start of the event.
