As part of the events of the 2nd Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030, the 2nd stage of annual Road Safety Week will take place in Ukraine on November 11 to 17, 2024.

The events of the Week will focus on topical issues of transport safety in Ukraine in conditions of martial law, as well as promote safe behavior on the roads, and spread awareness of road safety.

The event will be joined by representatives of relevant government structures that are regular and reliable partners of the Week – the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety, Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of

Ukraine, Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and others.

The Road Safety Week events will include:

– thematic round table (press conference) with online broadcasting to mark the launch of the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Road Safety Week with the participation of representatives of specialized government departments and structures, transport industry specialists, the public;

– international scientific and practical conference “Development of sustainable mobility: global and local solutions”;

– round table: “Reforming the National Legislation in the Field of Road Transport Safety in View of European Experience and Modern Realities” for heads of transport companies, representatives of transport infrastructure departments of regional state administrations and territorial communities;

– summarizing the results and announcement the winners of the 7th annual All-Ukrainian competition of social photo and video works within the national project “Safe Country”;

– annual unified lesson on road safety in educational institutions;

– nationwide blood donation action “Give Blood to Save Lives” and others;

– Memorial prayers on the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.
