At the initiative of the MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation, the ICF “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” specialists conducted the “Safe Way to Home” training for students of lyceums №2 and №3 in Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia region. Inna Olifirenko, Vasyl Briantsev and Tetiana Novikova, the instructors of the “Safe Way to Home” project, presented three locations to the children.
At one of them, the lyceum students improved their knowledge of traffic rules, in particular, how cyclists should move on the road. At another, they learned how to provide premedical care, trying to practice such skills. At the third location, children learned about the importance of adding reflective elements to their clothing.
All lyceum students who participated in the events received reflective tapes as a gift. The libraries of the lyceums also received gifts: “Safe Way to Home” manuals and sets of reflective belts. Most importantly, young road users have learnt important life safety rules and will feel confident on the streets and country’s roads.
This was the first stage of a joint project of the International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” with the MHP-Gromadi Charitable Foundation for educational institutions in Ladyzhyn. Later on, the training will be held in other schools of the city.
