Unified national road safety lessons have been held in Ukrainian schools

Road Safety Week in Ukraine. Traditionally, this week, almost all educational institutions in the country have Unified National Road Safety Lessons on Road Safety – Safety of Life.  Their vocation is to convey to the younger generation the need to comply with traffic rules, sound road behavior, study and mastery of domiciliary assistance.  It is gratifying that conducting activities that address these important issues is genuinely supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

 

The International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” held such a lesson in the secondary school №294 of Desnyanskiy district in Kyiv.  Anastasia Bryantseva Foundation instructor introduced the students to the features of the national project “Safe Country”, and also held a master class for students in grades 7-10 on the basics of providing domestic help.  “Kids are always easy to get in touch with in these meetings and are actively learning about everything new.  I hope this important knowledge will help them to preserve someone’s health and even life in their lives, ”the expert noted.

 

The younger generation is one of the most important target audiences of the national project “Safe Country”, primarily for the development of knowledge and skills in domedic assistance, – says the director of the Foundation Inna Olifirenko.  – Generated in this spirit, the generation will help increase the percentage of working-age adults who will be able to provide domedic assistance in the event of an accident or other accident, – she said.

 

Every year, more than 10,000 educational institutions are held in Ukraine as part of the Road Safety Week.
