On May 20, 2021 in National Children Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt” will be held a charitable action on blood donation for children injured in road accident “Give blood to save lives”.
On May 20 from 9 to 11 o’clock. The National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt” will donate blood for use in the treatment of children injured in road accidents as part of the All-Ukraine Road Safety Week. The all-Ukraine donor campaign “Give blood to save lives” is an annual event held at the initiative of the International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents”.
The permanent and reliable partners of the Foundation in this action are the representatives of the National Police, the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety and the Judicial Protection Service.
We remind you that this week blood is donated to victims of road accidents and other blood transfusion centers across the country. Anyone will be able to join the action, of course on medical grounds and in compliance with safety measures.
We invite media representatives to draw attention to the extreme importance of this action, because, given the difficult situation on the roads, blood for the victims of road accidents is needed almost every day. About 30,000 people are injured on the country’s roads every year, a third of them children.
