Attention to the media! On November 12, 2020 in National Children’s Hospital “Okhmatdyt” the charitable action on blood donation for children injured in road accident will take place November 12, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. in the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt” (Kyiv, V. Chornovola Street, 28/1) within the framework of the All-Ukraine Road Safety Week there will be a blood donation for use in the treatment of children injured in road accidents. The all-Ukraine donor campaign “Give blood to save lives” is an annual event held at the initiative of the International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents”.

Anyone will be able to donate blood for the children. The permanent and reliable partners of the Foundation in this action are the representatives of the National Police, the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety and the Judicial Protection Service, who are willing to respond to the good cause.

It should be noted that this week blood is donated to road accident victims not only in Okhmatdyt, but also in other blood transfusion centers across the country. Anyone will be able to join the action, of course, according to medical indications and in compliance with safety measures, and marked “For road accident victims”.

We invite media representatives to draw attention to the extreme importance of this action, because, given the difficult situation on the roads, blood for the victims of road accidents is needed almost every day. Every year more than 20,000 people are injured on the country’s roads, among them children. Щороку на дорогах країни травмується понад 20 тис. осіб, третина з них – діти.
