The projects of the International Charitable Fund were presented during the round table held at the Club of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on June 3, 2019.

During this event, initiated by the MP of Ukraine, Igor Didenko, profile departments and public organizations discussed programs aimed at preserving the life and health of children on the road.  Igor Didenko, at the start of the round table, said about the experience of state road safety management in European countries, in particular, in Germany and Spain.

Presenting the Fund’s projects, Yuriy Chornyi, President of the ICF «Assistance to victims of road accidents», paid special attention to the large-scale program «Safe country», which covers a number of areas of work with younger generations.  One of such directions is a photo and video competition, which has already been joined by students of Ukrainian schools.  According to him, the results of this competition will be presented in the autumn, during the second stage of the Road Safety Week, and the best works will be used as a social advertising in the security sector.  By the way, almost two thousand representatives of pupils took part in the photo-video contest «Youth for Road Safety» last year.

In particular, the participants of the event, among them representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ukrtransbespeka, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Health, Minregionbud, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Association of Ukrainian Cities, World Bank, EUAM, UNICEF discussed, in particular, the effectiveness of involvement of local self-government bodies in ensuring safe roads and safe movement of children, the way to school, the possibility of cooperation between business and government in the field of traffic safety, infrastructure and technological solutions, educational campaigns in this direction.
