Teaching on medical assistance organized within the framework of the joint project of the International Charitable Fund «Assistance to victims of accidents» and the Juvenile Department of the National Police of Ukraine #I_can_HELP_you, have been
held in various cities of Ukraine for almost a month. March, 21 in a similar training was attended by teenagers from several
educational institutions in Kiev.
During the training, boys and girls listened to the course of basic medical assistance, actively asked questions and participated in
the development of practical skills. Under the guidance of a professional instructor for providing medical assistance, director
of the ICF «Aid to the victims of an accident», Inna Olifirenko, the group was working on the most common situations: domestic and
industrial injuries, accidents, road accidents, etc. Teens learned to stop the bleeding, impose bandages, and also act on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and transportation of the victims. Some of those present were so overwhelmed by the
topic that they were interested in the opportunity to undergo an in-depth training course.
At the end of the training, all participants received certificates.
«The ability to provide medical assistance in time and in the right way is a fashionable skill among modern adolescents, and the project #I_can_HELP_you clearly demonstrates it», – shared the impressions of the Director of the Charity Foundation and the co-organizer of the project, Inna Olifirenko. «Our Foundation strongly encourages similar interests at the expense of an interesting and cognitive format of exercises, free literature, certified courses, etc. ˗ everything that can provide the child with the necessary knowledge and determination to save human life».
