TRAINING ON LIFE SAFETY WAS HELD FOR YOUNG PATIENTS OF THE “OHMATDYT” HOSPITAL

Simple rules save lives. These rules were taught to young patients of the “Ohmatdyt” children’s hospital, where educational training “We Know and Act” was held within the framework of the national project Safe Country.

An educational event for children who are currently undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in the hospital was organised by the ICF “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” together with State institution educational centre “Superheroes School” at the National specialized children’s hospital “Ohmatdyt” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

 

The instructors of the Foundation together with the Patrol Police in Kyiv and rescuers from the department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv set up several location, where children could interactively learn about the rules of premedical care, safe behavior on road and the use reflective elements in the dark, as well as mine and fire safety rules.

The educational training for children was one of the events held in Ukraine as part of the 7th Global Road Safety Week. We are grateful to the State institution “Superheroes School” for cooperation and joint organisation of the event. Step by step, we make our country safe together!
