“GIVE BLOOD TO SAVE LIVES”: BLOOD DONATION IN OHMATDYT TO SAVE LITTLE UKRAINIANS

The International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” continues to organize charity blood donation actions, promoting the donor movement in Ukraine.

In particular, on September 26, 20 employees of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety visited National specialized children’s hospital “OHMATDYT” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and shared their blood and its components with children undergoing treatment at the hospital.

There is currently a serious deficiency of donor blood in Ukraine. According to the Ministry of Health, the need for donated blood and its components has increased by more than 40% from the beginning of the war. Since blood banks need constant replenishment, it is important to donate blood not only as part of charity actions, but also outside them.

That’s why, the ICF “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” calls on all who are not indifferent to join donor initiatives and to share blood with those who need it.

The Foundation remains a reliable partner of the National specialized children’s hospital “OHMATDYT” and other blood centres in organising charity blood donation actions for victims of road accidents, to treat children and wounded defenders.

Remember, by supporting the donor movement, you are saving lives!
