THE WINNERS OF THE 5TH ALL-UKRAINIAN PHOTO AND VIDEO WORKS COMPETITION “SAFE COUNTRY” RECEIVED THEIR PRIZES
The International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” continues to get numerous feedback from the winners of the 5th All-Ukrainian youth photo and video works competition “Safe Country”, who received diplomas and gifts.
Due to the security situation, the results of the competition and awarding were announced online on the YouTube channel “Безпечна країна” (“Bezpechna kraina”), so all prizes were sent to the competitors by post.
Let us remind you, that out of more than a thousand works submitted to the competition, 31 prize works from pupils and students from all over Ukraine went to the finals. The organizing committee of the competition, was pleasantly surprised that despite the difficult time for our country, Ukrainian youth is actively participating in our project and creating socially significant content, promoting road safety, wearing reflective elements, knowledge of premedical care and other relevant topics.
A warm feedback was sent by the pupils of the children’s TV studio “Union-TV” of the Communal out-of-school educational institution Creativity Palace for Children and Youth, Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, who became winners in two nominations at once: Barrier-free educational environment (1st place) and Youth for road safety (2nd place).
“Safe Country competition made each of us think about what we want our country to be in the future. To think about what everyone can do or change to bring a comfortable and safe future closer. We wish the same inspiration to the participants of the next competition. Get involved! Together we will make our country safe”, – the pupils of the children’s TV studio said.
Another prize winner of the nomination “My safe country: the future”, a pupil of the Sokal Station of Young Technicians of Chervonohrad district, Lviv region Davyd Volos invites youth to participate in the next competition.
“Thanks to the organizers for the opportunity to take part in the competition and share our photo and video works. I invite youth to participate in the competition. Here you can implement your creative abilities. Let’s make our country safe together!”, – Davyd Volos said about the competition.
We want to remind you that the All-Ukrainian photo and video works competition “Safe Country” is held in Ukraine for the fifth year in a row.
The organizer of the competition is the International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents”, jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy with the support of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine.
The aim of the competition is to promote compliance with traffic rules and safe behavior on the road, the use of reflective elements in the dark by pedestrians, compliance with the algorithm of actions in case of road accident and other accidents, man-made, natural, or military emergency situations and response to their consequences, importance of mastering skills in providing premedical care to victims.
