From May to December 2023, 308 teachers from different regions of Ukraine took a theoretical course on premedical care and rules of safe behaviour on the road within the “We Know and Act” project.
Educators from Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kherson, Odesa, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Zakarpattia and Volyn regions have already joined “We Know and Act” project. Teachers have mastered the theoretical “Course on organizing the activities for teachers on provision of premedical care and save behavior on the road” (30 hours, 1 credit ECTS), using the online platform “We Know and Act”.
The aim of the course is the development of professional competences of education workers, necessary for partnership interaction with participants of the educational process (teachers, students, parents) to provide premedical care to victims in emergency conditions and road accidents and to learn the rules of safe behaviour on the road.
Educational and training programme for teachers includes unit on premedical care, unit on rules of save behaviour on the road for road users, as well as methodological tools for organising and conducting events on processing of safety rules on the road. After completing the modules, teachers are tested and receive the appropriate certificate.

We want to remind you that on May 2023, as part of its educational activities, the ICF “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” together with Kyiv Interregional Branch State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine launched the We Know and Act online platform, where the representatives of educational institutions can master theoretical part of premedical care.
However, during the war the ability to provide premedical care is important for all Ukrainians. Thanks to “We Know and Act” online platform, anyone can master skills in providing premedical care.
