On May 26, the first practical class of the course “Premedical care in case of sudden blood circulation stop in adults” was held for teachers of the State institution educational centre “Superheroes School” at the National specialized children’s hospital “Ohmatdyt” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

— Враховуючи те, що працівники «Школи супергероїв» працюють із уразливим контингентом дітей, навички домедичнї допомоги для них є необхідними. Саме цей заклад став пілотним для проєкту «Знаємо та діємо», — зазначила Інна Оліфіренко.
We want to remind you, that State institution “Superheroes School” has become a pilot institution whose employees can learn premedical care skills within the educational and training programme of the 1st level training on premedical care and road safety “We Know and Act”.
From May 16 to 23, 56 educators gained access to the online platform of the course “Premedical care in case of sudden blood circulation stop in adults” and mastered theoretical materials through lectures and author’s video lessons.
From May 26, the practical part of the training started, where the first group of school employees – 9 teachers from three educational centres operating in Kyiv region (National specialized children’s hospital “Ohmatdyt”, Municipal non-profit enterprise “Kyiv Regional Children’s Hospital” and health care institution “National Cancer Institute”) – received basic skills.
For reference. State institution “Superheroes School” is a network of educational centers in hospitals. The School’s main objective is to provide educational services offline for children who undergoing treatment or rehabilitation in health care institutions, including children affected by military action, were injured or became victims of physical, sexual or psychological violence, children with serious illnesses, including cancer, or in need of long-term rehabilitation (including mental illness and disorders of behaviour etc.)
As of May 2023, the state institution “Superheroes School” operates 11 educational centers at children’s hospitals in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv and Boiarka (Kyiv region).
