International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” continues to develop new materials for unified national lessons on road safety. This time, we present to your attention the lesson “Safe Way to Home”: duties and rights of pedestrians and passengers, as well as several lessons on providing premedical care.
In the video “Safe Way to Home”: duties and rights of pedestrians and passengers, we explain general concepts and terms related to pedestrians and passengers, their basic rights and duties, safety rules on railway transport and other important aspects of safe behaviour on the road.
Video lessons are focused on school-age children and are called to introduce them with basics of traffic rules and to change their behaviour on the road as simply as possible, which in turn will help to avoid many troubles and risks.
In the video on providing premedical care the instructors of the Foundation explained how to act in case of massive bleeding, follow the rules of personal safety and the rules for calling emergency medical aid.
You can become more familiar with video materials on our website in the Unified national lesson or on the YouTube channel «Безпечна країна» (“Bezpechna kraina”).
We want to remind you that on May 17 general secondary and vocational education institutions will host a traditional online lesson “Safe Way to Home” on the basics of road safety and prevention of injuries as a result of road accidents, organised by the ICF “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine within the framework of the 7th Global Road Safety Week.
In addition to new video lessons, teachers can use the methodological manual “Safe Way to Home”, which has also been updated with new sections, as well as a number of thematic video materials.
