An authorized expert jury of about 20 representatives from governmental and non-governmental organizations, partners of the national project «Safe Country» began to work on the review and evaluation of photos and videos of the All-Ukraine competition «Safe Country». Jury includes representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Transport and Infrastructure, specialists of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the State Transport Security Service of Ukraine, patrol and juvenile police units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Insurance Bureau of Ukraine, SE «Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine» of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, LLC «Eurocar», LLC «Shiny-Ukraine», LLC «QUINTO-PLUS», Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, members of civil society and the media.

The jury will evaluate the works primarily taking into account compliance with the terms and requirements for the competition works, defined by the Regulations of the competition. .

The main criteria for determining the quality and prize potential of competitive works that meet the requirements are:

• compliance with the purpose and objectives of the competition;
• maximum disclosure of the competition topic;
• video and photo quality;
• level of artistic performance;
• originality and skill of work;
• individuality and creativity;
• correspondence of the title to the plot-compositional content of the work.

This year, the winners of the best photo and video works with the first, second and third places will be selected in  nominations on the following topics:

1. Youth for road safety;
2. Promotion of wearing reflective elements;
3. Anti-bullying (harassment) in educational institutions;
4. Barrier-free educational environment;
5. Protection of ecology and natural resources;
6. Life Safety.

A separate nomination, as every year, is the «Winner of Independent Online Voting»: works that will gather the greatest number of viewers’ preferences on each of the above topics during the voting period – from 18 to 24 October 2021. The results of the online voting may coincide with the conclusions of the jury, but do not affect their decision regarding the winners.

The results of the competition will be announced and the winners will be awarded online  on November 16, 2021 as part of the Road Safety Week in Ukraine.
