On November 10, 2020, within the framework of the All-Ukraine Road Safety Week, the annual II International Congress on Transport Safety began its work.

The congress will present six thematic blocks with the following issues:

• results of the implementation of the Strategy for improving the level of road safety in Ukraine until 2020 – status, actions and prospects. Traffic safety management system in the field of transport.
• transport safety: efficiency of services and institutions and their impact on transport safety. Problematic issues in the field of transportation. Training of transport industry specialists.
• analysis, monitoring and investigation of transport accidents. Large-scale road accidents as part of the general situation with injuries and deaths on the roads of Ukraine. Taking the necessary measures to improve the situation. Road safety audit.
• development of transport infrastructure in terms of safety at the state and local levels. Urban infrastructure, European standards in traffic organization. Environmental safety in transport.
• role of the Motor Transport (Insurance) Bureau of Ukraine in the field of road safety.
• medical aspects of road safety.

The event is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the State Agency for Infrastructure Projects, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police, the State Agency of Roads, the State Transport Safety Service, the Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine, Ministry of Health, Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine, representatives of the Donetsk Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, KP “Kyiv City Center for Traffic Management”, the International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to victims of road accidents” and others.
