WE KNOW AND ACT: AN EDUCATIONAL TRAINING FOR CHILDREN WAS HELD IN THE HOSPITAL “OHMATDYT”

On November 16, within the 2nd stage of the Road Safety Week, an educational event on life safety for children was held at the educational centre State institution “Superheroes School” which operates at the “National specialized children’s hospital “Ohmatdyt”.

The organizers of the educational event for the students of 7-11 forms undergoing treatment at the “National specialized children’s hospital “Ohmatdyt” was the International Charitable Foundation “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” and the educational centre of the State institution “Superheroes School” involving Patrol Police of Ukraine.

 

Premedical care instructors together with the representatives of the Department of Patrol Police in the city of Kyiv organized interactive training for pupils and acquainted them with the rules of premedical care, safe behavior on road and the use reflective elements in the dark.

All young participants of the event received reflective bracelets and sweet gifts.

 

We want to remind you, that the ICF “Assistance to Victims of Road Accidents” has been working in the field of road safety in Ukraine for more than 15 years. The main aim of Foundation is to organize various projects and events to promote the importance of observing traffic rules and safe behaviour on the roads among the public and also assistance to victims of road accidents.

The Foundation is involved in the implementation of state policy and implements its own projects to improve road safety. It co-organises nationwide Road Safety Weeks.

 

A large part of our educational activities are directed at the younger generation as they are the key to our safe future.

 

The Foundation implements a number of projects for young people: nationwide unified road safety lessons in educational institutions; thematic educational and training weekend events “Safety Weekend”; workshops on premedical care for children and youth; annual All-Ukraine youth competition of photo and video works.

We remind you that within the framework of the Week, a virtual photo exhibition will be held on the Foundation’s website. It includes the best works of this year’s 6th All-Ukrainian photo and video works competition. Also, a photo exhibition will take place offline at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs (in Kropyvnytskyi, Kryvyi Rih and Ivano-Frankivsk).
