1,482 people have died on the country’s roads as a result of road accidents since the beginning of the year. This is 11.3% more than in the same period last year. Almost 14 thousand got injured. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine. June alone, the level of road traffic injuries increased by 11.8%. Despite the introduction of automatic photo / video recording of traffic violations, speeding still remains one of the primary causes of accidents, including with severe consequences.
